WB IPS officer SMH Mirza arrested in Narada case

In the first arrest in the Narada sting case, the CBI on Thursday arrested IPS officer SMH Mirza within hours of summoning him for questioning at its Nizam Palace office in the afternoon. It was the officer’s ninth appearance before the agency. A special CBI court later remanded Mirza in CBI custody till Monday.
