Sept 30 new deadline for KMC to repair roads

The KMC, which had a deadline of September 27—a day before Mahalaya—to finish repairing all the major roads, will now have to wrap up by September 30. But the incessant rain over the past four days has been making the task almost impossible, washing away the fresh layer of materials laid on potholes.
