St Xavier's classes next week, no date yet for CU

First-semester classes for undergraduate classes at St Xavier's College will commence from next week after an orientation session for the new students. First semester UG classes in all the Ramakrishna Mission colleges are already underway as they started their admission process well in advance. Though Calcutta University-affiliated colleges have not announced the date of the commencement of the first-semester classes, according to an education department directive, they will have to start by September 18.
