Rally marks Mahatma Gandhi's last Kolkata visit

The All India Peace and Solidarity Organisation organised a rally on Saturday from Sukanta Mancha to Gandhi Bhavan in Beliaghata to commemorate India's 75 year of Independence as well as to mark Mahatma Gandhi's last visit to Kolkata on August 13, 1947. Gandhi spent the Independence Day in the city as he wanted to restore peace between Hindus and Muslims.
