Now, pay for Kolkata airport prepaid cabs by cards, UPI

A long standing demand of flyers for online payment at the prepaid taxi counters in Kolkata airport was finally fulfilled on Saturday as Bidhannagar Police got in place debit/credit card as well as UPI payment options alongside cash payment for bookings. TOI had written on several occasions about passengers being harassed at the airport as the prepaid counters accepted only cash payments and often asked passengers to pay in exact change.
