600 nurses migrate from pvt to government sector

A flight of nurses that began a month before the pujas has left private hospitals in Kolkata struggling to cater to ICU patients at the height of the pandemic. With more than 600 across a dozen private hospitals having resigned since September to take up jobs in state hospitals so far, private establishments have been forced to fasttrack fresh recruits to Covid ICUs, which, they admit, could be risky.
