Private Hospitals across the city together have pledged to enhance Covid bed strength by another 500 in order to tide over the rising bed crisis. In a meeting with private hospital officials on Monday evening, the West Bengal Clinical Establishment Regulatory Commission (WBCERC) has asked all hospitals to submit a report on their respective bed augmentation plans by October 14.
