Jadavpur on alert ahead of chancellor visit

A decision in the Jadavpur University students’ general body to call on the chancellor during the court meeting on Friday has kept the JU administration on tenterhooks. University officials were busy holding discussions with police till Thursday evening to avert a re-run of last month’s campus ruckus during the visit of Union minister Babul Supriyo.
