Dengue cases: Kolkata records 5 deaths so far

A late spurt in the number of dengue patients across the city has led to a festival season scare. Several private hospitals have reported a surge in dengue positive cases since late September and the flow of patients continues, which indicates that the virus – which has resulted in five deaths in Kolkata so far – remains active.
