‘Too early for Puja prediction, but festive season in Kolkata may start with rain’

The city was drenched by a steady drizzle for the third day in a row on Thursday. A low-pressure trough that has been triggering rain continued to have an impact on the weather, renewing fears of a rainy Puja next week. While the Met office is yet to issue a Puja prediction, the festive period will kick off amid rain, said weathermen at the Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC).
