Kolkata: VIP Road bridge may open tomorrow

The Lake Town Bailey bridge across Kestopur canal will most likely be opened on Tuesday, if the rain doesn’t affect work further. GRSE has completed fixing the steel superstructure and have handed over the bridge to KMDA, which has started setting up the approaches on both ends of the bridge. Senior KMDA officials and engineers inspected the progress of work on Sunday.
