Focus on Kasba-New Alipore traffic this Puja

Faced with the daunting task of keeping the city moving even as multiple flyovers are partially shut across the city, the police brass that met for its final central Puja meeting on Friday stressed on the need to keep the traffic along the 4km stretch between Kasba and New Alipore - lying on both sides of Rashbehari Avenue - moving. With at least six pujas having state ministers or MMiCs as their patrons in this stretch, the cops are deputing additional personnel here.
