Doctor, aide held for circulating actor’s posters

A general physician, Arunava Pal (36), and his friend, Sankarnath Haldar, were arrested from Sonarpur on Friday evening for circulating objectionable posters of a Bengali actress, Brishti Roy, with her number on them, at Ballygunge, Tollygunge and Jadavpur stations and on local trains. A married man, Pal had once professed his love for Roy but she turned him down, police said.
