Bikers held after sergeant assault on CIT Road

A traffic sergeant — attached with the Park Circus traffic guard — was assaulted by two bikers on CIT Road when he tried to stop them for not wearing helmets. The incident took place around 5.30pm on Sunday. The police arrested both the accused, Kartik Prasad Roy and the pillion rider Sebastian John Gomes.
